We are seeking a digital marketer/junior web developer to join our marketing team, consisting of a team lead, graphic designer, copywriter, and a web developer (you). This is a wonderful opportunity to hone your skills in a fast-paced work environment supported by a committed team of digital marketers. This position is full-time in the Victoria office.

About You (Our Ideal Candidate)

You must be comfortable working for many different companies in a variety of sectors including, but not limited to, cannabis retail, event rentals, pharmacies, breweries, and natural health products. Ideally, you are a problem solver and fast learner with great communication skills; someone who is hard-working, positive, entrepreneurial, and willing to take on new challenges.

Our ideal candidate will be proficient in the following skills. However, lacking experience in any of the following DOES NOT disqualify you from being considered for this position. Our team has been working together for a couple years and we’re very willing to teach you the skills you’ll need to succeed.

Your duties would include:

• Building New Websites/Maintaining Existing Websites

• Experience hosting websites on different host providers. (ASmallOrange, WFH, Google Cloud, Godaddy, Baremetal, Cpanel)
• Experience with WordPress. Some have been built with page builders such as Elementor Pro.
• Set up Google analytics/Search Console and make website improvements based on the information gathered. * Creating and Managing Gsuite/Office 365
• Building Web Apps (ex. Digital menus, Employee Portals, etc.)
• SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
• Facebook and Google Ads etc.

• You create ads from scratch, monitor the results, and split test new creative/copy to reduce cost and increase conversions. * Managing GoogleMyBusiness Profiles and Other Digital Listings

You should have experience with:

• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• PHP

Apps that we regularly utilize include the following:

• The Adobe suite
• Microsoft Office suite
• ClickFunnels
• Manychat
• Zapier
• C-panel
• Mailchimp

Experience with any of these is considered a significant asset.
